I am lucky enough to stay home with our boys. I am also lucky enough that I get to volunteer at Jacob's school. The class is wonderful. I believe it is because of Mrs. Green. She is in her 30th year of teaching and she was simply born to teach. So, I decided that it would be nice to thank you for having parent volunteers.
Mrs. Green and Jacob, our oldest
The card was made from a DCWV stack and I used PTI Button Bits stamp set. It is a 5.5 by 5.5 inch card.
The next project that I have neglected, unfortunately because of things that always seem to happen when I need to do something important and have promised to do it. A follower of my fan page on FB won a $25.00 gift certificate from Michael's at the beginning of the month but then, like one has to do with the other, we discovered that we had a bunch of Mickeys (mice) running in our home. Holy Snickies! I have been pretty much trying to deal with exterminators and running around with a soup latel in one hand and a bottle of anti-anxiety pills in the other. I am terrified of mice. Sorry, I digress....
I made the gift card holder idea is was made from, "Card making with the Cricut". Surprisingly, I didn't know all the Cricut cartridges have as much as they do. I cut the WIMG cartridge. I then punch out a slit for the card with the Stampin' UP! word window punch in the middle.
Until the next project.....

The best thing that's ever been mine!
Today, 9 years ago, I took a leap of faith and love when I married my husband. The world was uncertain at the time due to 9/11 but I was never so sure about anything as when I said, "I DO!" I made another card for my husband from Cardmaking from the Cricut.
I wanted the card to be more manly so I chose different colors than the book.
Until the next craft!

Projects I have been working on
I am have been busy and haven't had a chance to post my latest projects so, here is a mass craft post!
Project #1:
I made an explosion box for a girlfriend that is about to have her first baby, a girl.
Top of the box
This is the box opened. The baby's name will be Audrina. I computer generated the A in the middle of the box.
One of the flaps, I made some tags and a pocket for them.
Close up of the tags.
The Mommy and Daddy can write a note to the baby. The papers comes out.
Here is the card that I made to go with the present. I got the card idea from "Cardmaking with the Cricut" Great ideas and easy to follow.
Project #2
Birthday card for one of my friends miles away. I also got this card idea from "Cardmaking with the Cricut"
Project #3
This was a word book I made for a follower of my FACEBOOK FAN PAGE. She wanted me to make a book that read, "SNOW" I used the Speaking of Winter and GBS carts for this.
Thanks for Looking (and hopefully commenting)
Until Next Project!

New Things on my blog
First, look to your left! Don't you love it? It is my new button that you can grab now! Please feel free. The wonderful designer can be located at http://www.designsbysarahbryan.com/. She is very reasonable and easy to work with. Thanks Sarah!
Okay, so I wanted to show these cards before the blog hop but forgot because I was so excited about it!
The first card is a birthday day. I used Kraft cardstock. I ran a white inkpad on a layer and then stamp with my favorite stamp...I watercolored the flower and then used some glossy accents to some of the flowers.
The second card is card lift. I got the idea from Mary. Click HERE to see her video. I made this for a baby shower
Hope you all have a great Monday!

Okay, for my first blog hop, I came up with two cards:
The first one, I thought that it can be sent to a soldier that you may know or not. All the troops need our love and support.
Card Recipe:
*Red 5.5 inches square card
*MS punch on the base card
*then layered with a white and a blue
*3x5 inch white cardstock
*Stand and Salute cartridge cut "Support Our Troop
-blackout cut of above
-dark blue ink to sponge around
*red/white/blue ribbon
*blue star brad
The 2nd card was simple yet complicated for me. (The easy things are hard for me, ya know?)
Card Recipe
*6x5 inch white card base
*1 each of the following in Red/White/Blue
-2x4.75 rectangle
-1.75x4.50 rectangle
*Stand and Salute cartridge cut "Welcome Home Soldier"
-cut the apart the "Welcome Home Soldier" (carefully)
-adhere as shown
*stickles
*ink for the edging (white and black)
As for my Blog Candy (did you just hear angel singing?)

BFF Explosion Box
I don't know how, but I had a feeling that I needed to make something for my BFF, in Maryland. Julie and I have been friends since we were 8 years old and have stayed close since then even though we are 3000 miles apart. No matter what happens we are always there for one another.
She is, above all else, a mother, to five beautiful children. I wanted to make her an explosion box of her children: Her favorite colors are grey and purple.
