Lucky

I have a friend who's job is, at time, stressful but so rewarding. She is awesome at being a mother. She is a great friend and I laugh constantly when I am in her presence. Her sense of humor is 2nd to none.  I am lucky to have her as a friend and proud she is part of a wonderful alliance called, MOTHERHOOD




This is a close up of the new Domino Cuttlebug folder. I used a brayer and rolled Black Staz On and then sent it thru the CB. I love how the dominos stand out! I also used the polka dots folder as well.

I have a girlfriend who LOVES the color purple (not the movie but the actual color, well, I don't know if she likes the movie...but I digress...

I wanted to make a long card. I haven't done one of those, ever. It was strange. I couldn't use a text box for the inside message but it came out cute, nonetheless.

I get by with a little help from my friends (and family)

I wanted to thank some a few special people that have done a lot with their kind, but stern words that were and are much needed.

This card is an "S" fold card. There is a wonderful tutorial done by the fabulous Mary at Cardz TV.

I wanted to use bright and cheery colors. The saying is:
"The task ahead of us is never as great as the power behind us."



The next two cards, I got the idea from the "Just Because" Cricut Cartridge. I didn't have the room to cut out the sentiment from the cart so I computer generated instead. I also used the Herring Bone CB folder, inks. The truck is cut out of the black/white cordinations paper and sanded.

They were super easy to make. A little bit of cardstock, vellum, ink, ribbon and a great picture of Penny and voila!

New Cuttlebug Folders

I finally got my Oh My Crafts order of the new C/B folders. I actually forgotten about them until the mailman knocked on the door. Since my craft spending has curtailed majorly, I don't get love packages in the mail anymore. But in the long run, that is a good thing.

The next folders are now in a bigger size (exspecially the swiss dots, but the name is different: Polka dots.
You won't have to worry if you are getting the entire A2 size card (4.25 inches by 5.5 inches) embossed which will save time as well as frustration (it isn't easy being a craft perfectionist)

My girlfriend, Tammy got a new job as an online English teacher. I couldn't be prouder of her. She is super smart and the kids will be lucky to have her.

Have a Berry Sweet Birthday

This card was for a friend of my 4 year old, Matthew.



My card recipe:
*Card Base: 5.5 x 5.5 white card
*Layer: 5.12 x 5.12 cordination cardstock (black/white)
  -embossed with Swiss Dots C/B folder
  -sanded
  -edges dipped in Versamark, then embossed with Red Tingle power
*Strawberry from Indie Art Cricut Cart
  -black out, strawberry, green leaf cut at 3.5
  -Stickles for the seeds (Black Diamond)
*3 Generic white brads
*Foam Tape (by 3-M)
  -I only purchase it at Home Depot because you get so much more than at the craft stores
*Tombo Mono Multi-Glue
