One of my youngest son's friends, Jayden is turning 5 years old on the 30th of this month. I decided that I wanted to try out my BIC/Sharpie markers (the poorman's Copic) to color in the stamped image on the card. I think I will need to get the fine tip version as well but I like the look of the card. Jayden likes purple and pink and butterflies.
This is a 5.5 x 5.5 inch card. I made the sentiment on the computer and glue it down to look like a banner. I finished off with a pink bow.
Until next craft!

Crafty Sellers Manly Card Challenge
Happy Thursday to ya! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Manly cards are not (or a lot of peoples') favorite card to make. So, I was totally surprised when this card popped up in my head and I am happy at the way it turned out!
I made an easel card. They are super easy to make! You can find the directions HERE
I used the Man stack from DCWV and the Handy Man Cricut Lite Cart. I had to a tiny bit of bling. Can't say no to bling!
Thanks for looking

You are loved card
I want to make something everyday, which is fun but I find myself overthinking (can you smell the smoke)...Anyhoo....onto today's card.....
This is a standard A2 size card (4.25 x 5.5). I used cordinations paper. I also used the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge (say that 5 times fast). I used a scallopped border punch and inked the edges with TH distress inks. I completed the card with a knot and some pearls.

I saw this card made on Youtube. You can find it HERE The idea was originally for Split Coast Stampers.
The papers are from DCWV Crafty Stack. I used Lacy Labels for the center die cut. I also used one my new stamps from the dollar bin at the craft store. Some bling and a olive green ribbon for the final touches.

Meet my new friends
Hi Everyone! I wanted to share my new friends that I made.....I actually made them....hahaha....I started to make this project before my youngest son, Matthew was out of preschool. I wanted to make a "Career Book" for the kids to look at. I never finished project but I am bound and determined to finish this project. Here is what I have made so far.....
I used "Everyday Paper Dolls" Cricut Cart and Peachy Keen Stamps for the faces. I also added some stickles when needed (and they are ALWAYS needed!)

You're a Superstar!
Hope everyone is having a Terrific Tuesday! It has been busy at our house....My oldest son, Jacob lost his first tooth (well, naturally....there was an escalator incident in 2008 in which he lost 4 teeth but we aren't counting that, people!) He is very excited for the tooth fairy to come!
On to my card that I made....Jacob got some super cool shirts from his Aunt and Uncle and I wanted to make a card for him to write a thank you note. When I was at the craft store the other day, I found all these cool $1 stamps that I loved!
T'he papers are DCWV. I also used the "Stars" embossing folder and some TH distressing inks for the star. I used red ribbon and some pop dots!
Thanks for looking!

Welcome Baby Nolan
I made a Word Book for a dear friend of mine who, recently had a baby boy. I was super excited to do this word book because this was my first "boy" one. It seems that I have only done "girl" ones. Enjoy the photos....
Until next craft!

Long time.....no see....or hear....or crafts
It has been so long since I have posted anything on this blog! I have to admit that I went through a dry spell. "They" say that every artist goes through one but my was especially long. I tried to make cards and what nots recently and ended up in the trash because it wasn't "perfect". But what is perfect anyway? I looked at my past scrapbooking and cardmaking magazines for inspiration. I decided to go to my craft and sit there, think, and make something. I promised myself that I wouldn't throw away anything that I made and I would post pictures....
The first card is a card lift from "Creating Keepsakes" magazine. I can't tell you the month/year of the issue because I tear my pages out of the magazine and put them in a binder. The papers are DCWV and the "You're beautiful inside and out" stamp is from....I don't know....it was in my "friends" stamp bin. I used TH distressing inks and I used my polka dot cuttlebug folder for the embossing. I also used fiskars scallopped edge punch And a brown bow for the finishing touch
The card is a 9x4 inch card and will fit in a legal size 10 envelope.

The next card is a smaller A2 size card (4.25x5.50) I used TH distressing inks, Cuttlebug folder (polka dot), DCWV paper (the friends panel) I used the Cricut "lacy labels" for the frame in the back. The same stamp for my stamp bin and a pink bow on the side for an added touch.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope I can hear your comments. I am always encouraged by them but besides, a girl loves to feel love, ya know~
Until next craft
